Overview

The Reports Module in the Admin Portal allows Network Admins to generate system usage reports using real-time data captured by MangoApps' telemetry engine. Reports are exported in Excel format (.xlsx) with two tabs: Summary (graphical data) and Data (detailed information).


Available Reports

Active Users Report

This report includes details about active users engaging with the platform within a selected time frame.

  • Summary: Graphical comparison of total vs. active users.

  • Active Users Data: Name, Email ID, Location, Last Active Date, and more.

  • Access Details: Logout time, Access type (mobile/desktop), Department, Session details, etc.

Active users in this report are users who have at least accessed the service two times and have posted an update (of any kind), commented, replied or reacted during a specific time-period.

  • Use this report to:

    • Monitor overall platform adoption and engagement trends over time.

    • Identify departments or locations with low participation for targeted outreach or training.

    • Audit inactive users for potential license optimization or deactivation.

    • Support HR or leadership with reports on employee platform usage for performance or engagement reviews.

    • Detect technical issues if certain groups show sudden drops in access or activity


Active Teams Report

Highlights teams with at least two activities in the selected time period.

  • Summary: Graphs showing active vs. total teams.

  • Details: Team names, Admins, Activity Scores, and Team Types.

  • Use this report to:

    • Evaluate which teams are actively collaborating and which may need engagement support.

    • Identify high-performing teams for recognition or to model best practices.

    • Track new teams to ensure they are adopting the platform correctly.

    • Spot teams with low or no activity that may no longer be needed and can be archived or consolidated.


Users Activity Report

Monitors user actions like posts, comments, and reactions.

  • Summary: Top users by updates, reactions, views, and comments.

  • Details: User names, content types, views, comments, and reactions.

  • Use this report to:

    • Recognize top contributors for engagement programs or internal recognition.

    • Monitor if communication strategies are effective based on interaction levels.

    • Help department heads understand internal team collaboration trends.

    • Identify possible overuse or misuse if certain users show unusually high activity.


Influencers Report

Identifies users with the most impactful posts and mentions.

  • Summary: Top contributors, popular users, and mentions.

  • Data: Includes user activity and engagement metrics.

  • Use this report to:

    • Highlight key influencers to leverage for internal campaigns, mentorship, or advocacy.

    • Support recognition programs by identifying employees driving engagement.

    • Ensure leadership voices are reaching and engaging with employees.

    • Monitor informal leaders who may be shaping company culture.


Content Statistics Report

Analyzes content engagement (reactions, comments, views).

  • Summary: Highlights top content by reactions and views.

  • Data: Includes content details (author, type, views, etc.).

  • Use this report to:

    • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication content (e.g., updates, posts).

    • Identify what content formats resonate most with employees.

    • Provide data-driven feedback to content creators or corporate communications teams.


Page Views Report

Tracks views of company and team pages.

  • Summary: Top-viewed pages graph.

  • Data: Page and viewer details.

  • Use this report to:

    • Assess visibility and usefulness of company or department pages.

    • Identify pages that may need content updates based on low or declining views.

    • Track effectiveness of newly launched informational or resource pages.

    • Ensure required compliance or HR policy pages are being viewed.


Dashboard Views Report

Logs dashboard views across platforms (web, mobile, desktop).

  • Summary: Total views graph.

  • Data: Includes user details and view counts.

  • Use this report to:

    • Understand which dashboards are most used across different user segments.

    • Optimize dashboard layouts or content based on user behavior.

    • Detect if certain user groups are not using required dashboards.


Questions & Answers Report

Monitors Q&A activity, response times, and accepted answers.

  • Summary: Fastest-answered questions and most active users.

  • Data: Includes question details, responders, and response times.

  • Use this report to:

    • Track knowledge-sharing trends and identify subject matter experts.

    • Spot bottlenecks where questions remain unanswered for too long.

    • Recognize employees actively helping others through quick responses.

    • Monitor effectiveness of the Q&A feature for internal knowledge management.


Teams Usage Report

Tracks team engagement metrics, including posts, reactions, and comments.

  • Summary: Top teams by content and engagement.

  • Data: Includes team activity breakdown.

  • Use this report to:

    • Compare engagement across teams to identify successful collaboration patterns.

    • Provide team managers with metrics to encourage participation.

    • Detect inactive teams for cleanup or support.

    • Inform leadership on cross-functional collaboration efforts.


Hashtags Usage Report

Tracks frequently used hashtags.

  • Summary: Top 15 hashtags.

  • Data: Occurrence count for each hashtag.

  • Use this report to:

    • Monitor trending topics or initiatives across the organization.

    • Evaluate adoption of campaign-specific hashtags.

    • Clean up or standardize hashtag usage to improve searchability and consistency.

    • Identify emerging areas of interest among employees.


Recognitions Report

Summarizes awards and recognitions given during the period.

  • Summary: Top awardees and givers.

  • Data: Includes award details, givers, and recipients.

  • Use this report to:

    • Track participation in recognition programs.

    • Highlight highly recognized employees for HR or leadership review.

    • Ensure balanced recognition across departments or locations.

    • Identify opportunities to promote under-recognized employees.


Media Gallery Activity Report

Logs activity on uploaded media files (images, audio, video).

  • Summary: Top downloaded and viewed media.

  • Data: Includes upload and usage details.

  • Use this report to:

    • Track usage of important media assets (training videos, marketing images, etc.).

    • Identify outdated or unused media files for archiving or deletion.

    • Monitor which visual content drives the most engagement.

    • Support content teams in creating more effective media resources.


Story Collection Report

Tracks responses to automated story collection requests.

  • Summary: Graph of story requests and responses.

  • Data: Includes request and response details.

  • Use this report to:

    • Track employee participation in storytelling initiatives.

    • Identify departments with higher engagement in company culture activities.

    • Evaluate effectiveness of story collection campaigns.


Feedback Report

Captures user feedback via NPS surveys.

  • Summary: Feedback trends in graph format.

  • Data: Includes user ratings and comments.

  • Use this report to:

    • Monitor employee sentiment and satisfaction trends over time.

    • Use NPS data to inform leadership decisions on culture and policy.

Search Report

Logs search keywords used in the system.

  • Data: Includes search text, type, team, and counts.

  • Use this report to:

    • Understand what information employees are seeking.

    • Identify gaps in content or resources based on search patterns.

    • Optimize search algorithms or keywords to improve findability.

    • Support content development priorities based on employee needs.


LMS Reports

  • Search Report – identify topics employees are searching for.

  • Hashtags Usage Report – analyze trending topics and tag adoption.


Department or Team Manager Meetings

Purpose: Review team participation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. Reports to Bring:

  • Teams Usage Report – show team-specific activity levels.

  • Questions & Answers Report – highlight participation in knowledge sharing.

  • Users Activity Report – spotlight team contributors.

  • Recognitions Report – showcase internal recognition efforts.
