Extra Time Per Month

This metric reflects the total number of hours your company has saved each month over the past 12 months. Click the Extra Time per month block to view this data in the graphical representation section.

Improved Productivity Per Month

This metric indicates the average increase in employee productivity over the past 12 months. Clicking the Improved Productivity per month block will show a month-by-month bar chart of this data.

Graphical Representation of Analytics

The dashboard provides a visual representation of your selected metric (Extra time per month or Improved productivity per month) as a bar chart, showcasing the data for the last 12 months.

If your domain has been active for less than 12 months, the dashboard will account for the number of active months available.

The ROI dashboard is not available for private cloud or on-premise deployments.

MangoApps will not display ROI analytics if there is insufficient data for your domain.

FAQ

How is Extra Time per month calculated?

Extra time per month is calculated based on the activity of all users within the domain. Activities are sorted into communication and collaboration categories and then subdivided into reading and writing. The amount of savings for each of these activity categories is different.

Based on a report by the International Data Cooperation (IDC) and McKinsey Global Institute Analysis, we spend 67% of our time communicating and 14% of our time collaborating. Our efficiency increases by 20% to 35% when using collaboration tools. (2013)

Also, a study by professor Jacob Palme, Department of Computer and Systems Sciences, KTH Technical University; showed that it takes around 4 minutes to communicate an activity in writing and 0.5 minutes to communicate an activity in reading. (1998)

Similarly, a study by Medium showed, it takes around 7 minutes to collaborate on an activity in writing and 28 minutes to collaborate on an activity in reading.

Hence,

ROI = ( 25000 - 5000 ) / 5000 X 100 = 400%

Formula for calculating improved productivity per month:

For example,

• Time savings per month = 2000 hrs

• Total employees in your domain = 100

• Total work days in a month = 20

• Total work hours in a day = 8

So, Improved productivity per month = ( 2000 / (100 X 20 X 8) ) X 100 = 12.5%
