# Left Panel Widgets

### Overview

The left-hand widget panel is designed to improve usability, engagement, and content discovery. This panel is fully configurable by admins through the Admin Portal, ensuring tailored experiences for different user segments.

The left panel has a **fixed width of 300px** and will **auto-hide on screens** with a resolution below **1200px**.

By default, the **'Show Left Panel' setting is turned OFF**, and admins can enable it based on organizational needs.

### Configuring the Left-Hand Widget Panel

Admins have full control over the left-hand widget panel configuration, allowing them to customize the experience for all users. This can be done through the Admin Portal by navigating to **Modules > News Feed > Settings** and selecting the **Left Panel Setting** tab.

Admins can choose from a collection of **50+ widgets** from the widget gallery to add to the left hand panel by clicking to **+ Add Widgets** button.

A maximum of **5 widgets** can be added to the left-hand panel.

Admins can **rearrange widgets** using a the **drag-and-drop** interface.

Widgets can be configured with **user segment-based visibility** and **custom header images**.

Any **changes made by admins** to the left-hand panel will be **recorded in the audit log** for tracking and transparency.
