Configuring the domain-wide settings for hashtags

Overview

Network admins can manage who can create hashtags on the domain and configure other domain-wide settings of the Hashtags module.‌

Admin Portal > Modules > Hashtags > Settings

1. Who can create new Hashtags?: Select who can create hashtags on your MangoApps domain.

   • Anyone can create new hashtags: Select to allow any network user to create new hashtags on your domain.

   • Only network admins can create new hashtags: Select to allow only network admins to create hashtags new hashtags on the MangoApps domain.

2. Who can apply Super Hashtags: As a network admin, you can select who can tag content using the Super Hashtags on your domain.

   • Only network admins can apply super hashtags: Select to allow only network admins to tag content with Super Hashtags.

   • Network admins and following users can apply super hashtags: Select to allow network admins and the selected users to tag content with Super Hashtags. If selected, displays the Super Hashtags on the User Portal in the Add/Edit Hashtags pop-up.

3. Super Hashtag Search Results: Choose a background color from the color picker to help users quickly identify the search results which have Super Hashtags associated with them.

4. Save: Click the Save button to apply the settings to the module.
