Admins can configure domain-wide default locale settings that ensure a consistent user experience across your platform. These settings control crucial elements like date format, time format, time zone, and language for all users.
Users will have the option to personalize their preferences and override the default settings from the Change My Settings option in the user portal.
The Locale Settings section includes options for the Default Date Format, Default Time Format, Default Time Zone, and Default Language.
For each of these options, admins can select the desired default format or setting for all users:
Set Default Date Format: Choose the preferred date format for your domain (e.g., MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY, etc).
Set Default Time Format: Choose between 12-hour or 24-hour time format.
Set Default Time Zone: Select the default time zone for users (e.g., GMT, EST, PST).
Set Default Language: Choose the language in which users will interact with the domain (e.g., English, Spanish, French).
If you do not wish to set a certain default option for the domain, uncheck the box next to the default option you would like to exclude.
Once you have configured the settings, decide how to apply them:
Apply to all users: Select this option to apply the settings to both existing and new users, overriding any existing user preferences.
Apply to new users only: This option applies the settings only to new users who sign up after the change. Existing usersβ preferences will remain unchanged.
After selecting the desired locale preferences and the application method, click the Save button to apply the changes.
