Branding Toolbars

Configure and customize the domain-wide branding settings

Overview

MangoApps offers the functionality to establish distinct branding for sub-brands within a company. You can create multiple branding configurations tailored to various aspects such as business units, subsidiaries, products, and more, in accordance with your company's branding guidelines. Each sub-brand enjoys its unique identity, defined by its individual color palette, visual elements, text styles, widget designs, page footer, employee profile banners, email headers, email footers, and various other components.

Branding Toolbars

Within the Branding Module dashboard, you gain access to a comprehensive overview of all the branding themes that have been created within your domain. This hub enables you to not only view your existing themes but also create new ones.

Additionally, the platform empowers you to make edits to themes you've already saved, ensuring your branding remains adaptable to your evolving needs.

Add Branding

This button allows you to create brand identities within the domain for various user segments.

Admins can create and customize up to a total of 10 brands. This includes both active & inactive brands.

Each brand has a unique name and a user segment associated with it.

Each brand can have its own home page banner, logo, color palette, appearance, text styles, widget style, page footer, employee profile banner, and more.

Newly created brands will appear on top of the branding list.

Users will automatically be assigned a branding based on their user segment.

When an employee is authenticated, their UI interface is automatically personalized as per the branding that is configured for their user segment. This is true for MangoApps web portal, MangoApps mobile app, and the MangoApps messenger app. This does not apply to users My Portal mobile app, custom-branded mobile app, or custom-branded messenger app.

To add a new branding theme, follow these steps:

  1. Click Add Branding.

  2. Enter the User Segment Name.

  3. Select the User Segment from the list.

  4. Newly created brands will appear on top of the branding list.

  5. If an employee belongs to multiple user segments, then the first active matching brand from the top in the Branding Module will be automatically assigned to them.

  6. A branding that is inactive will not be assigned to any employee. Admins can deactivate a brand, make edits to the branding elements, and then activate the brand once it's ready to be assigned to employees.

Existing Branding Selection

This menu provides an overview of your current branding themes. MangoApps includes two pre-set branding choices by default: Default Network User Branding and Default Guest User Branding. These system-defined branding designs cannot be removed or disabled. However, administrators have the flexibility to modify them in order to align with their company's specific branding prerequisites.

The branding module supports both horizontal and vertical navigation styles. The navigation style that gets applied to users depends on the user segment they belong to as well as the navigation style that is set up for that user segment. For more information in applying navigation styles, click here.

3-Dot Menu

Admins can edit and duplicate any custom branding that they have created. Admins can edit them to meet & comply with their company's branding requirements.

Edit Properties: This option enables you to modify the name of the branding theme and specify the user segments to which this theme will be applied. For instance, if your company oversees multiple brands, you can assign a distinct branding theme to users associated with brand A and a different portal theme to users assigned to brand B.

The Default Branding for Network and Guest Users are segment locked and cannot be changed. New branding will need to be added if you would like to designate a different user segment.

Duplicate: Admins can duplicate any existing brand, make edits to it, and create a new brand for a user segment/personal.

Disabling and Deleting Branding: These options will only appear and apply to created branding, not Default Branding. When a branding theme is deleted, all associated setup will be permanently removed and cannot be restored. Users assigned to this branding will either receive an alternative branding or revert to the default branding.

On the other hand, if you would like to modify a branding theme without erasing it, you can choose to Disable it. Once disabled, the user segment linked with this branding will be presented with an alternative branding or revert to the default branding. When you are ready to re-enable this branding, simply click Enable from the same menu.

Edit Branding

This option will allow you to edit branding proprieties. Each brand can have its own home page banner, logo, color palette, appearance, text styles, widget style, page footer, employee profile banner, and much more!
