Pending invitations to accept for new user invites

List of Pending Invitations

The invites tab displays the pending invitations from network users to new users to be added to your domain that need your approval as a network admin. Network users can invite users to your MangoApps domain and in projects, groups that they are a member of.

The Invites tab is NOT displayed if you do not have any pending invites on your domain.

Notifications for Pending Invites

When a network user invites a user to your domain, an email and notification are triggered.

Notification: Click the Notifications bellicon to see the notification.

Email: Check your inbox to view the approval request email.

Notification (User Portal > Change My Settings > Notifications Settings > In-app & Email) in the notifications list is dependent on the settings adjusted in the User Portal for each user.

Accepting a Pending Invitation From the Admin Portal

To accept a pending invitation:

  1. Click the Invites tab to redirect to the Manage Users' page. MangoApps automatically filters the users with the 'Pending' status in the users' list.

  2. Mark the check-box for the user whose invitation you want to accept.

  3. Click the User Tools button to open the drop-down list of actions.

  4. Click Accept Invitation to accept the invitation for the user and add the user to your MangoApps domain.

Accepting an invitation

After accepting the invitation, the status of the user changes to 'Active' and the user becomes a network user in the domain. The network user who invited the user receives an email when the invitation is accepted. The email contains the sign-in details for them to use to login.

The network user receives an email when a network admin accepts their pending invitation.

The invited user receives login information via an email with a temporary password.

Accepting a Pending Invitation Via Email

  1. Log into your email inbox.

  2. Click the email from MangoApps and then click the View Request button to redirect you to the Manage Users' page. MangoApps automatically filters the users with the 'Pending' status in the users' list.

  3. Mark the check-box for the user whose invitation you want to accept.

  4. Click the User Tools button to open the drop-down list of actions.

  5. Click Accept Invitation to accept the invitation for the user and add the user to your MangoApps domain.

Declining a Pending Invitation

To decline a pending invitation:

  1. Click the Invites tab to redirect to the Manage Users' page. MangoApps automatically filters the users with the 'Pending' status in the users' list.

  2. Mark the check-box for the user whose invitation you want to decline.

  3. Click the User Tools button to open the drop-down list of actions.

  4. Click Decline Invitation to decline the invitation for the user.

Declining an invitation

Declining a pending invitation does NOT trigger any notifications.

Routing of Invitations to the Network Admin and Organization Admin

You can reroute invitation for accepting and declining to the network admin or the organization admin by modifying the 'Employees to invite Other employees' setting (Admin Portal > Domain > General Settings > Invite, Signup & Login Settings) as 'Moderated (Any employee can invite, but invitations will require admin approval).' The two settings available are:
