Network admins can activate/deactivate system templates, create new custom post templates and re-order the templates on the User Portal.
List of templates: Displays all the post templates on your domain. MangoApps contains 16 out-of-the-box posts templates. You can clone these system templates to create new custom templates.
Actions: Click the(three dots) button to open the pop-up and then click Clone & Edit or Deactivate or Activate or Edit This Template or Duplicate Template or Export Template or Delete.
Clone & Edit: For system templates, click to clone the selected template and open it in edit mode.
Deactivate: For system templates, click to deactivate the selected template on the User Portal.
Activate: For deactivated templates, click to activate the template on the User Portal.
Show templates: Choose the templates shown in the list in the Admin Portal.
All: Show all (active and inactive) templates in the list. Inactive templates display a marker in the top-right corner as "Inactive".
Active: Show only active templates in the list.
Inactive: Show only inactive templates in the list.
Re-order Templates: Click the Re-order Templates button to open the Re-order Templates pop-up. Drag-and-drop the templates at the preferred position, and then click the Done button to re-order them on the User Portal.
Design Your Own: Click the Design Your Own button to open the Create Template page.

Import New Template: Click to import post templates into MangoApps. The file must be in the .zip format containing a .json file and the optional images for the post.
Deleted templates are moved to the Trash Can which can be recovered and restore by the network admins.
Activating and Deactivating a posts template adds an entry in the Audit Log.
You can create custom post templates by clicking the Design Your Own button and assign categories to them. To create a new custom post template:
Enter a title for the template in the Title text box. For example, enter Promotion in the Tile text box.
Enter a description for the template in the Description text box.
Click the preferred blocks to add the content to the post template. You can add a Cover Image, Image, Video, Audio, Quote, Text, Media + Text, and Button blocks in the template.
Add a featured image for the post template. This is an optional step.
Select the preferred attributes for the post template in the Settings options.
Mark the Allow comments to be posted checkbox to allow users to comment on the post on the User Portal.
Mark the Make it a must read checkbox to set the post as a must read. If this is checked, users will be required to click on the post before they can view the message content. Acknowledgment report will be available listing the users who have read the post. This adds a "Must Read" box at the left corner of the post and displays the post in the consolidated widget on the Posts page.
Mark the Mark it as an announcement checkbox to to set the post as an announcement. This adds a "Announcement" box at the left corner of the post and displays the post in the consolidated widget on the Posts page.
Mark the Make post voice enabled checkbox to automatically convert the company or team text posts into voice posts for your users. This adds the post in the Podcast widget on the Posts page.
Select the preferred attributes for the post in the Story Settings option.
Mark the Make this post as a story checkbox to set the post as a story - a site-wide banner with a system/custom background and post title by default. Users CANNOT override this when creating a post using the template. A post that's published as a story will be automatically made a site-wide banner for up to 24 hrs. The site-wide banner will be visible to all network users. After 24 hrs, the banner will be automatically removed but the post will remain intact. Most recently published story post will replace any existing story as a site-wide banner.
Select the preferred categories for the post template in the Category options.
Mark the categories to automatically assign the selected categories to the post when a user creates a post using the template.
Add the preferred hashtags for the post template in the Hashtags option.
Enter the preferred hashtags in the text box.
Click the Preview button to display a preview of the post template.
Click Post Analysis button to get the more information on word count, character count, and Read time of the post.
Click the Publish Post Template button to publish it. Save the template in drafts to have other intranet & domains admins review it prior to sending it. Click Cancel and Close to cancel the changes.
Only network admins can create post templates in MangoApps.
You can import post templates to streamline the entire process of creation of blog posts by users on your domain. To import a post template:
Click the Browse button and click the template .zip file. For example, click the Retirements.zip file.
Choose to import the file as a New Template or Override an Existing Template.
New Template: Create a new template.
Override an Existing Template: Replaces and overwrites an existing template.
Click the Yes, Import button to import the template into MangoApps. The new imported template open in draft mode.
Edit the template as preferred and click Publish Post Template button to create the new template and add it to the Templates tab. Click the down arrow and the click Save Template As Draft to save the template as a draft in the module.
Click the(More Options) button, and then click Import New Template to open the Import Template pop-up.
