RSS is Really Simple Syndication. It helps one to keep up with news and information that’s important. The advantage of RSS feeds is that it avoids conventional methods of browsing or searching for information on websites as information gets pulled and made available at one place.

Adding RSS Feed Reader to Your Dashboard

To add the RSS Feed Reader to your Dashboard, start by navigating to your dashboard and click on Customize.

Then, select Widget Gallery.

  1. Search for the RSS Feed reader

  2. Click on +Add to add the widget

  3. Click on Done to add the widget

The RSS Feed Reader is now on your dashboard.

Adding RSS Feed Reader to Your Sidebar Widget Panel

On your widget panel, click on the + sign.

  1. Search for the RSS Feed reader

  2. Click on +Add to add the widget

  3. Click on Done to add the widget

The widget is now added to the widget sidebar panel.

Following an RSS Feed from the RSS Module

Select RSS Reader

Select New Subscription from the top of the screen.

Title your RSS Feed and either enter or paste the RSS link. Then, click on Save.

The title of the RSS Feed appears on the left. The feed itself is on the right panel. You can follow as many RSS Feeds as you want.

RSS Feeds on Your Dashboard

If you follow more than one RSS feed, you can navigate between them on your dashboard, by selecting the desired RSS Feed from the dropdown menu.

RSS Feeds on Your Sidebar Widget Panel

As with your dashboard, you can select which RSS Feed you want to read by selecting it from the dropdown menu.

You can unsubscribe from a RSS Feed by clicking on the trashcan icon. You will be asked to confirm that you want to unsubscribe.

You can set the properties of the RSS widget by clicking on the three dot menu and selecting Set Properties.

You can change the title of the widget and the total number of displayed items. You are limited to 99 items being displayed at a time.

Editing Followed RSS Feeds from the RSS Module

Navigate to the RSS Reader

  1. Click the pencil icon to edit the display name of the RSS feed as well as the web address for the feed

  2. Click the trashcan to unsubscribe from the RSS Feed.
