🆕Posts Dashboard
Overview
The Posts Dashboard provides admins with a detailed view of how posts are created, shared, and consumed across the organization. It highlights publishing patterns, audience engagement, and viewing trends to help you measure communication effectiveness.

Filters and Time Frames
The Posts Dashboard offers flexible filters to tailor insights:
Category filter – choose specific post categories (e.g., Sales, Weekly Status, Customer Success) or view “All.”
Time filter – options for 1 week, 4 weeks, 12 weeks, 1 year, or a custom date range (7–365 days).
All charts and metrics update dynamically when filters are applied.
Total Posts
This metric shows the overall posting activity during the selected time range.
Definition: Total number of new posts published (first published, not drafts or reposts).
Includes company posts, team posts, and posts targeted to specific users or criteria.
Deleted posts (soft or permanent) are excluded, but archived posts are included.
Posts by Type
This breakdown shows what kinds of posts are being published.

Categories outlined in this metric includes:
Company posts – visible to the entire network.
Team posts – shared within specific groups, departments, or projects.
User-specific / criteria posts – targeted to individuals or user segments.
This information is useful for understanding whether posts are being used as broad communications or targeted updates.
Post Open Rates
Post Open Rates measure how effectively posts are being read by their intended audience.
The formula used to calculate this percentage follows: Open Rate (%) = (Total unique views on posts ÷ Total audience of those posts) × 100, with the dashboard also showing comparisons to industry benchmarks.
Open rates are based on unique user views rather than total views and apply only to posts published during the selected period.
Post Publishing Trend
This chart shows how many posts are being published over time.

Format: Bar chart grouped by day, week, or month depending on the selected time filter.
Purpose: Identifies peaks and dips in posting activity and helps monitor communication cadence.
Posts Open Trend
This graph reveals how audiences are engaging with posts once they are published.

Metrics:
Total views – all views, including repeats by the same user.
Unique views – distinct users who viewed the post.
Format: Dual-line chart that changes granularity based on the selected time range.
Posts Open by Platform
This section shows where posts are being read.

Platforms included: Web Portal, iPhone, iPad, Android, Email, and Others (e.g., API, MS Teams).
Metrics tracked per platform:
Unique views – distinct users viewing posts on that platform.
Total views – all views, including repeat views.
This information helps determine which channels are most effective for reaching employees.
Post Engagement
This table gives detailed insights into individual post performance.

For each post, you see:
Title (with link)
Audience (company, team, or user-targeted)
Type (Content or Alert)
Special settings (e.g., Announcement, Must Read, ACK Required, Boosted, Governance enabled)
Publish date
Unique views and Total views during the selected period
Posts can be sorted to highlight either most- or least-engaged content. Click the chart icon next to the posts Total Views to go directly to that posts insights page.
CSV Export
Admins can export post engagement data for deeper analysis.
Exported data includes: Post title, audience, type, settings, published date, unique views, total views, and links.
Posts with zero views are excluded from exports.
Useful for offline reporting and historical comparisons.
Deleted or Moderated Posts
To maintain accuracy, deleted posts are excluded from analytics.
Deleted posts – both soft-deleted (in trash) and permanently deleted – do not appear.
Moderated posts – posts sent to moderation (either automatically or via flags) are still included, since they were published and available during the time frame.
