Admin users can add various types of items—such as forms, files, posts, wikis, and links—to specific categories within the Library module as well as edit or delete current library items.
In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, admins will have access to the Add Items button. Clicking this button will open the Add Library Items pop-up menu.
From within this menu, choose the Library where the item is to be added. Select the Category within that library. Then, choose the Item Type.
The Library module supports various item types, depending on the Library Type chosen by the admin when setting up the library space:
Form: Add forms that have been shared within the company.
File: Add files that are either publicly accessible within the company or within public teams. Files must be uploaded to the Files module beforehand.
Post: Add posts that have an audience or company-wide or are within public teams.
Wiki: Add wikis that are accessible within public teams.
Image or Video: Supported media formats include jpeg, jpg, png, svg, mpeg, and mp4. This options is only available and the only option available for the Image and Video type library.
Simple Link: Create a direct link to a specific URL.
Condition Based Link: Create a link that opens a specific URL when a certain condition is met.
Click Save & Close to immediately add the item or, to continue adding more items, click the Save and Add More button.
Forms, Files, Wikis, and Posts will automatically inherit their title and description from the original place they were created/uploaded.
Once an item has been uploaded to the library, admins will have the option to Edit, Delete, and/or Copy the Library link.
Clicking Edit opens the Edit Library Item pop-up menu. From here, admins can update the item's library location and category, as well as modify its inherited title and description. Conditional links and URLs for linked items can also be adjusted in this menu.
Item types cannot be changed from the edit menu. To change the item's type, it must be deleted and re-uploaded.
When items are deleted from the library, the following occurs:
Linked items within the library will be deleted and removed from the domain unless linked elsewhere.
Other item types, such as forms, documents, etc., will remain in their original locations (e.g., teams, other modules) and will not be removed from the domain.
