Mango Recorder is a versatile tool designed to manage and organize screenshots and videos effectively.
All: Displays all captured content, including screenshots and videos.
Screenshots: Filters the view to show only screenshots.
Videos: Filters the view to display only video recordings.
Located below the navigation tabs, the search bar allows you to quickly find specific screenshots or videos by typing relevant keywords.
Found on the top-right corner, the Capture button provides access to options for creating new screenshots or video recordings. Click the dropdown for additional capture settings.
The content is organized by date (e.g., January 10, 2025, and January 9, 2025). Each section displays files captured on that specific date.
Each file is shown with a preview thumbnail, a file name, or file type indicators.
Thumbnails give you a quick look at the contents of each screenshot or video. Click on a thumbnail to view or edit the file.
Messenger Icon: Access in-app communication features for sharing files or discussing edits.
Settings Icon: Customize application preferences such as file saving location, shortcuts, and other app-related options.
To manage recordings effectively, use the search bar for quick navigation, especially when handling a large number of files. Consistently organize your files by renaming them to improve searchability. Users can search for recordings by name or hashtag, with results sorted by the most recent modification date.
Users can right click on an item to access additional menu options. These options are dependent on the type of file selected.
Copy Public/Internal Link: Copy a shareable link to the file for external or internal access. Public links are for video only.
Get Embed Code: Generate a code to embed the file in external websites or platforms. Video only.
Edit Video/Image: Open the file in the editing interface to make adjustments or modifications.
Edit Name and Tags: Change the file's name or add/edit tags to improve organization and searchability.
Download: Save the file to your local device for offline use.
Delete: Permanently remove the file from the system.
Multiple files can be selected at once using the shift + click shortcut on windows (cmd ⌘ + click on Mac).
Multi-selecting items enables users to copy links to multiple videos and screenshots at once, eliminating the need to select and copy each link individually.
