### **Saving and Sharing**

Once a capture has been taken or edited, users have 3 options for saving.

#### ![](/files/iXe8lNedrjUxvfUsWQRw) Quick Save (Online)

This option allows users to quickly save their captures to Mango Recorder and their MangoApps domain library. Once the save is complete, a notification confirms that the upload link has been copied to the clipboard for immediate sharing.

Users can use this link immediately or select the **Get Link or Embed Code** option to open the **Link & Embed Code** menu. This menu provides additional link types, including:

* **Page Link**
* **Embed Link**
* **Direct Link**

{% hint style="info" %}
Sharing permissions for these links can be managed in the **User Portal** under the [**Recordings Module**](https://guides.mangoapps.com/user-guide/my-recordings).
{% endhint %}

#### ![](/files/gOTfTBha9R6Ow094r6ln) Save As (Online)

This option saves captures to the Recorder library while allowing users to assign a custom name and tags to the file.

Names and tags help with future searches and are displayed in the **Recordings Module** when the capture is selected.

Tags are automatically matched and updated with similar tags in the domain for better organization.

#### ![](/files/UAAfsb68jMBbLPtseEWU) Save Locally

This option enables users to save captures directly to their local hard drive without requiring an internet connection.

However, it is **highly recommended** to save captures to Mango Recorder for several advantages:

* Cloud-based storage for easy access and editing at any time.
* One-click sharing options.
* Automatic integration into the Mango Recorder and Recordings Module libraries.
* Access to captures across multiple devices.
