Users can view detailed insights for videos uploaded to the domain. These insights provide admins and video owners the ability to track video performance, including views and watch time, providing valuable insights for content creators and administrators.
Video insights refer to the data and metrics related to how videos are being watched.
These insights include:
Total Views: How many times the video has been played.
Unique Views: The number of individual users who have watched the video.
Average Watch Time: The average duration viewers spend watching the video.
Total Time Watched: Cumulative time spent by all viewers watching the video.
These insights help track the performance of a video in terms of audience reach and engagement.
The following widget types support video insights:
Multimedia Widget
Rich Text Box with Media
Slider Widget
Wraparound Text Media Widget
For example, a slider widget may contain multiple videos, each having its own set of video insights. These insights are available via a "Video Insights" link, accessible by clicking on the three-dot icon within the widget.
Video insights can be accessed only by specific users:
Domain Admins
Team Admins
Company Admins
Internet Admins
Video Owners (the user who uploaded the video)
These insights are visible in the view mode of the widget or post, not in the edit mode.
When users click on the "Video Insights" link, they can view a summary dialog box showing a list of all uploaded videos along with detailed statistics. The table format includes:
Video Name
Video Duration
Total Time Watched
Average Time Per View
Unique Viewers
Total Views
For example, a video with a duration of 20 minutes might show insights such as:
Total Views: 5
Average Time Per View: 12 minutes
Unique Viewers: 3
If a user watches the video multiple times, the Total Views count increases accordingly.
Video insights are also available for videos uploaded within posts. If a post contains multiple videos, each one has its insights. Post creators can view whether their videos have reached the target audience and whether theyβve been watched.
