Why does it say “video conversion in progress…”?
When videos are first uploaded, there will be some time before they can be played. A message is shown alerting that a video conversion process is in progress. During the video conversion process, videos are converted to MP4 format for the MangoApps Web and Messengers clients and to HLS format for iOS and Android playback.
Is video streaming supported for both types of storage – S3 and SAN?
Yes, MangoApps supports video streaming from both types of storage – S3 and SAN.
Where in MangoApps can I play videos that have been uploaded?
The Player is shown in following places: The file preview dialog, the file details page and the TinyTake (SimpleShare) page. All TinyTake (SimpleShare) uploaded Videos can be also played.
Is there a size limit on videos?
A video up to 5 GB can be uploaded via the web and up to 10 GB can be uploaded via the sync client. From the mobile app at this time time the size limit is 200 MB. Any uploaded video in MangoApps can be streamed and played on web & mobile.
