How do I reset or change my password?

Can we install MangoApps on our own server?

Yes, MangoApps can be installed on your own internal server completely behind your company’s firewall. To purchase an on-premises deployment, contact MangoApps directly by email or by phone.

How do I extend MangoApps through open APIs?

What browsers does the MangoApps document viewer work in?

MangoApps Document Viewer will work on 99% of the world’s browsers as long as JavaScript is enabled. The shortened list of modern browsers that are certified with MangoApps Document Viewer includes: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari.

What browsers does MangoApps support?

MangoApps is designed to work with the current or the immediately preceding versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and with the latest version of Google Chrome and Safari. However, for the best experience when you use MangoApps, we recommend that you always use the latest version of the browser in question.Any beta versions are not supported for any browsers.

Firefox and Chrome are both designed to stream updates to your devices every six weeks. Many common problems with these browsers are resolved in each update and we take every effort to test and support the latest version.

How do I add multiple documents to MangoApps on the web?

From the 'Files' feature, you can drag and drop or upload multiple files to MangoApps at the same time.Refer here on how to upload files in MangoApps.

Is there a file size limit for document uploads?

The file upload limit varies between different interfaces such as web, messenger, mobile portals and also based on the storage option used. Here are some limits for file uploaded when using SAN and Amazon S3 as storage for MangoApps.

SAN:

  1. Maximum upload size per file from web portal - 2 GB

  2. Maximum upload size per file in chat and messenger - 2 GB

  3. Maximum upload size per file from file sync - 10 GB

  4. Maximum upload size per file from iOS and android platforms - 200 MB

For all the platforms(web, messenger and mobile) with SAN as storage, you can play/stream video files online upto a size of 1 GB per video file without downloading them.

Amazon S3:

  1. Maximum upload size per file from web portal - 5 GB

  2. Maximum upload size per file in chat and messenger - 2 GB

  3. Maximum upload size per file from file sync - 10 GB

  4. Maximum upload size per file from iOS and android platforms - 200 MB

For all the platforms(web, messenger and mobile) with Amazon S3 as storage, you can play/stream video files online with no limit to its file size.

For all the platforms(web, messenger and mobile) and both the above storage options(SAN and Amazon S3), there is no download limit to the file size.

For any GIF content, the upload size is limited to 4 MB.

Is MangoApps available in other languages besides english?

Yes. MangoApps translation is accomplished through a crowd-sourced translation solution, where MangoApps users contribute their translated phrases and the best translation becomes part of MangoApps. The percent complete for each individual language varies.

Content including feeds, attachments, and comments in MangoApps can be entered in any language. You can help translate MangoApps using the crowd-source translation tool. The network admin can also choose the already available languages which you can see here.

How to turn-off email notification from MangoApps?

MangoApps network admin can enable or disable email notifications through the admin portal. Learn how to manage the email notifications settings here. You can also manage the email digest notifications here.

Network users can follow the steps here to manage their notifications individually.

How to configure incoming emails to generate a private message for users in MangoApps?

With this feature every user in the company who does NOT have an email address/inbox can receive emails from trusted systems/email addresses as a private message. Learn how to configure inbound emails in MangoApps here.

How is a company event different from a team event in MangoApps?

How can I embed weather updates in pages?

How to create office locations?

Domain admins can setup office locations with rich details about each location. Details can include location address, work timing, emergency contact etc. Office locations comes with built-in capability to allow domain admins to add custom fields to each location to meet enterprise specific requirements & compliance. How can a user upload files to a MangoApps folder via email?

MangoApps users may need to upload files to a MangoApps folder via email. This is to ensure that all the work related files are on the MangoApps application and can be forwarded using your email client.Files module has a setting to allow users to upload files to a folder using its email address. How to synchronize users and groups from an Sftp url in MangoApps?

If you have a long list of users and groups that you wish to import to MangoApps in a go, then you can automate the process using CSV upload of users and groups. Scheduling new user provisioning in bulk can be done from an SFTP based URL. Learn how to import bulk users to MangoApps using a CSV file here.

How to use custom Oauth App for O365 and Google?

MangoApps can be configured with custom OAuth authentication for Office 365 and Google. This will enable both shared cloud and Private Cloud customers also to use OAuth with O365 and Google. Learn more on configuring OAuth single sign-on here.

How do I invite users into MangoApps?

You can invite users into MangoApp in multiple ways. This includes CSV import, Active Directory sync, Office 365, GoogleApps, Okta, HRMS system, and more. Learn more about how to invite users here

How can I enable the "Update" option in the universal compose box if it's not visible?

  1. Access the Admin Portal.

  2. Navigate to the "Domain" section.

  3. From the General Settings, locate the Status Update Configuration settings.

  4. Select the option to enable sharing of updates.

  5. Save your changes.

  6. Go to the User Portal.

  7. Click on the Compose box.

  8. You should now see the "Update" option available.
