Ideas & Campaigns FAQs
While your idea is is the “Idea Socialization” phase, all colleagues have the opportunity to comment on your idea. Often input from colleagues provides the best details for refinement and prioritization of the idea.
The Ideas module enables your users to capture ideas and start idea campaigns inside your company.Encourage users to post in the Ideas module to share with the management ways to improve processes, create solution to common customer problems & more.Network admins can manage the idea admins and the statuses of ideas that are under consideration, deferred, and implemented.Learn more on how to configure Ideas Module here and follow the link to use the Ideas and Campaigns feature.
There are multiple ways to communicate and collaborate with an idea submitter without leaving MangoApps. Communicate openly or privately by:
- 1.Openly : Have a group chat, Add mentions in activity streams, Start a poll, Ask a question
- 2.Privately : Direct Message, IM
To search specifically for ideas in your company you can search by keyword from the Global search or also search from the Ideas Module. Check here on how to search an idea from the Ideas module.
Idea Committee members change the status of each idea as it moves through the ideas lifecycle. Learn more on Ideas lifecycle management here.
You can filter through the different status of ideas and campaigns using the filter options inside Ideas. Learn how to use the filter options here. This will show you the below statuses:
- 1.Ideas under any status
- 2.Ideas under consideration
- 3.Ideas Implemented
- 4.Ideas Deferred
- 5.Ideas Patented
File attachments can bring in background information, more detail that can be provided while authoring the idea within MangoApps, and save time in explaining all the intricate details of your idea. If files become irrelevant to the idea or are outdated, they can be deleted later and replaced.
The simplest idea submission contains only the 2 items required by the “Post an Idea” form: “Title” and “Idea Summary”. Providing the extra information such as tags on the submission form and file attachments that give more detail to your idea as a whole will help people better form an opinion and be informed about your idea. You can also provide problem statement , solution, value proposition, alternatives if any, etc.Learn more on creating/submitting ideas here.
For an Idea, you can change the status from 'Idea Tools' when viewing the idea.Idea Committee members can assign the following statuses to ideas that are in the queue:
- 1.Queued
- 2.Acknowledged
- 3.Under Review
- 4.Reviewed
- 5.Deferred
- 6.Already Offered
- 7.Implemented Partially
- 8.Implemented
As the idea moves through each phase of the idea lifecycle, idea committee changes the status of the ideas as per the statuses available which shows which phase the ideas is in. When going through the list of ideas, you can observer the status column to view which stage they are in or click an ideas to view ore details on it as well as its status.
The idea committee is a small group of people appointed by the leaders in your organization and assigned to be Ideas Committee Members by the Domain Administrator. The purpose of this small committee is to be accountable for the advancement of ideas through the idea life cycle. Members of this committee should have a good understanding of the direction of projects, workloads of employees, and be able to make the decision to implement a good idea or defer it until a more appropriate time. Idea committee members help facilitate implementation or decide to defer submitted ideas.
The Idea Committee is the small group of leaders appointed by the organization to be accountable for moving submitted ideas through the MangoIdeas Life Cycle. This committee is the decision maker after the idea has been conceived, authored, socialized, and refined. The Idea Committee should triage to close on ideas to be implemented, partially implemented, deferred, or be further reviewed. Learn more on how to make an user a part of the Idea Admin group.
While exporting campaign insights is impossible, users can still access and view them. To do so, navigate to the Campaign section within the User Portal and select any Campaign (excluding those in draft status). From there, click on the three dots and choose "View Insight" to access the insights for that particular campaign.
No, you cannot. However, you can target your campaign to the audience mentioned below:
- All Users: Includes all the network users within the domain.
- Specific User: You can choose a specific network user in the domain.
- Select User Criteria: You can apply filters to create a customized list of users who meet the specific criteria.
