Open Chats

See all your open chat sessions with co-workers and teams.

Your Open Chats section shows all your open chat sessions with people and teams

Open sessions that have been starred will only appear in the Starred Chats section. They will not appear in the Open Chats section.

It is easy to close open chats individually.

From the Open Chat list, hover over the chat you want to close.

Next, click on the X.

The system will close the open chat session.

If you close a chat session, you can reopen it at any time, and your previous chats will still be visible.

In addition to closing sessions one by one, you can also close them all at once.

From the Open Chats section, click on Clear All.

The system will immediately close all open chats. Reopen a chat by searching for the user you want to chat with.

What is the order you see the open chat in? You see the chats in the order you last accessed them.
Are open chats remembered when you log out and log back in? Yes! Open chats appear in the Open Chats list until you tell the system to remove them. You can also set in your preferences to have the system close all open chats every time you log out.
How many maximum open chats are listed? All your open chats will be listed. There is no limit to how many will be listed.
Which chats appear in the open chats vs starred chats? If you have starred a chat, it will not appear in your open chats, but rather the starred chats section.
