# Templates

### Overview

Admins can create and manage custom **Wiki Templates**, providing users with reusable starting points for common wiki types such as meeting notes, project proposals, and SOPs.

From **Admin Portal > Modules > Wikis > Templates**, admins can create templates using a guided **Properties > Design > Preview** workflow. Templates can include a custom banner and fully designed wiki content, and can be saved as drafts before publishing. Admins can also edit, duplicate, activate, deactivate, delete, and reorder templates.&#x20;

System templates can be cloned and customized as needed.

When creating a new wiki, users can select from available active templates in the **New Wiki** dialog. Selecting a template pre-fills the wiki with its configured content, which can then be edited before publishing.
